Well boys, it is going to be a while before we get out. A record snowfall for Maryland, 29"+. Hope all are doing well with no damage. Got the Tahoe up the driveway but still waiting for the road to be plowed.

Right here Steve. The storm dropped a good 30" and wasn't bad at all. Our street had 2 feet of bay water on it ............ the water had a very long way to hit the house.
Sandy was a heck of a storm. First time that area was flooded since they started keeping records @ 150 years.

Thanks for asking

I was worried about ya. I saw there was more flooding in the area and you were the first one I thought of. Glad to hear all you have to deal with is snow.

We got about 27 inches. Man I guess there in one advantage to living in the "Hood" down in Ft Belvoir, we got plowed every 2 hours, had pavement by mid day on Sunday.

Still no plows on our street but they are getting closer. Matt just got cleared a few hours ago. Problem is we are on a cul-de-sac so we are lowest priority.

Charlie, you haven't been plowed at all since the storm?

We were not touched but in the last 20 minutes, they came and plowed our street. Now I have to shovel out the end of my driveway and try to find my mailbox under the pile they left us but I will take it. Good to have freedom again.

Here is a picture from Saturday when it was still snowing. Moved the Jeep to do a round of shoveling on the driveway.
