Haven't logged on in a while.
 

I've been totally consumed by starting my own business. I did a small home video for Modern machine shop magazine and submitted it. I don't know if it will make the cut. But I did give the ZR-1 some attention in it. I've been busier than a no legged man at an azz kicking contest. Things have moved very fast in a short period of time. This weekend I will be moving the Z out of the garage and into storage. I'm going to milk my garage for all it's worth. Next I will be looking for a building. I work my day job as a CNC programmer/shop manager. And when I come home I work in my garage until midnight making parts for my customers. I love it. Here's the video. Luck is only a small part of it, Hard work guts and a good support network at home is the other and it appears you have what it takes to go all the way. :cheers:

Cool video,dude! San Jose,huh? I spent quite a bit of my childhood on the boardwalk there. My mom's family all live around Hollister.

I as well have been keeping up with your progress on FB. I know how tough it can be working for large manufacturing CNC companies most of my career as a ME/QE.

Best of luck and believe me you can do it. I constantly gets calls from companies who need help programing and proving gear cutting/gear checking programs.

It's a great opportunity for you and you will succeed with the right balance of equipment/minimum overhead.
