95 ZR-1 #244 bought
Well guy I bought a two owner 95 Z from a local guy who bought the car with around 2500. miles on it. Today when I pick it up its shows less tahn 8500 on the dial. The problem with it is I'm not sure it a keeper. Carter has already told me to keep her locked up and under a cover. But with three other vettes 1 91 Z#1501 and a 09 Z06 it hard to pick and chose witch one to drive. With the miles that are on the car is it a car to hide away for a rainy day and yes i know that a car is not a investment item. So do I drive like its ment to be driven or maybe turn around and put her back up for sale. Either way shes a pretty Z blk on blk with a few tasteful mods done by Corey Henderson.

Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
Sure sounds to me like one not to beat up with those kind of miles.
You've got others for that. |
Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
If I were you I would drive it like it's meant to be driven since it has already been modified.

Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
That's a big problem !!
Use it well . |
Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
FWIW, I would drive it. I use my '95 for club events, weekend drives, The Gathering and the Woodward Dream Cruise. I even autocrossed it last year at the Gathering and had a blast!.
My car has a few more miles, at 16,600 but I drive and enjoy it every chance I can. |
Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
I'm in the driving camp. I also bought a 95 blk/blk with 3k miles it now has 16k and I have fully enjoyed every mile I put on her. My only regret is that I cant drive her more. If it has wheels it was made to move

Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
Drive it and enjoy it or save it for the next owner to do so.

Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
Sounds like I'll drive her show her what she been missing all these years.
The good thing about it is now I can go crazy with the mods on my 91. Thanks for the replays and insight. Russell 89 dark red met 91 polo green #1501 95 black #244 09 Z06 |

Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
Wow I don't think I'm cool enough to own a car like that.
Got the car Saturday! Man what car forgot what a factory suspension felt like. Now all I have to do is clean and polish her up and will be good. |
Re: 95 ZR-1 #244 bought
nice!!! I like the quote "who are you saving it for"
will a low mile car like this be worth money someday, sure, 25 years from now my goal is just the opposite, put a milllion miles on it because driving the ZR-1 is the most fun you can have with your clothes on, and the ZR-1 is a reliable suiter and responds when asked the ZR-1 is one of the most reliable engines on the planet, so why not get more smiles to the mile permagrin is worth more than a few bucks and life is too short to drive junk but I know the problem that "multiple" vettes bring a long time ago I had 3 ZR-1s for a long time. I had to stop as people were confusing me with Demps :o |
