You guys asked for it and I have come thru on the Billet single throttle cable clip that replaces the nasty factory clip. I will be designing and machining the double throttle cable clip soon as I get some asked for info.

Cliff,
You already have the billet throttle body plate on the last order you made. The billet double throttle body clip will look identical to the clip shown except it will have two cut outs instead of one.

Well,
Finished the billet single and double throttle cable clamp. Mailed out the majority of the clamps ordered and just found an issue. Seems that the pads that are on the plenum that the throttle clamps bolt to are NOT the same dimensions.
When I designed the billet throttle cable clamps I used my front pad on my LT5 and it fit perfectly. I will be checking the rear pad to see what the difference is. I'll probably have to design a different one for the rear and will do so and will make it right with those whom I have mailed the pair of clamps to already.
If you would please mail back the one you do not use I'll reimburse you the shipping cost back to me. Please drop it in a bubble mailer and ship the cheapest way as I do not need the clamp back quickly.
Just wanted to give you all heads up that I am working this issue and will have it fixed ASAP.......Thanks, Carter :cheers:

Checked my plenum for the throttle cable clamp pad dimensions and they are NOT the same. Also noted that I will change the design to have one locating tab as the weld on the plenum holding the factory pad is causing the second locating pad to not seat on the pad.
I'll have the fix and replacement billet throttle cable clamps done this week for shipment to those who originally ordered and received them.
Please return the unused billet throttle clamps to me for a full refund of the shipping cost.

Please PM or email me letting me know if you are having to return any clamps and which pad, front or rear, you are needing.

efnfast filed off one locating tab side and it worked fine so if you wanna try that first then let me know if you need a replacement or not that would be fine.

The fun keeps coming. I just saw a pick of a 91 plenum and the throttle cable clamp pads do NOT look like my 95 plenum pads. Here is the 91:http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/...s001-Copy2.jpg

My 95 only has one threaded hole in the the center of each pad. Can anyone else verify how your pad is configured and the year of your plenum so I can get this squared away. Thanks in advance, Carter :cheers:

I just checked into pics of plenums and the 90 - 92 have the dimple pad with threaded hole and the 93 - 95 have the single threaded hole in the pad. Now I see why the ones I sent out had an issue as they were all early dimple style.

I just want to mention this for what it is worth. The stock '92 clips are different from the '93 to '95 clips. (I don't know about the plenum pad being any different from '92 to '95).

Anyway, the '92 clip was wider than the '93-'95 and the hole in the clip was oblong so that there could be some adjustment. I do not know if the '93-'95 clip will work on a '92 plenum...I am guessing that they are the same pad.

So, there were actually three stock cable clip styles offered, '90-'91; '92; and '93-'95.

Are the cable clamps still available? I need a pair of the double type for a '91. I also need one additional clamp for a modified feature on my car for a total of three double clamps. Thanks, Perry
