SGC this Nov.
Hey Guys,
Its getting close for the ZR-1 gathering at SGC. This year the event will take place on Nov. 22-23 . Fri come on out say hi and maybe go to the swap meet to look for the one part that you need or want. Sat will be the BBQ where you can sit back, bench race and check out what other ZR-1 owners have done to their cars. Hope to see everyone again and maybe meet some new owners of our cars. As Doug says its the people not the cars. thanks John Becker 1990 white/black #2546 one of a few auto (4l80E) eq ZR-1's member #0115 |

Re: SGC this Nov.
the dillon road nationals are not to be missed. my first ride was in Kurt White's 415 with the new dual disk tilton clutch and that crazy bugger behind the wheel.
put my spine out of place for 2 weeks and I had to scrape my shorts! but I'll say this, Kurt can DRIVE and he's HARD on the equipment. of course many were to follow, but take a tip from me DO NOT get into a car with George E!!! unless you bring a diaper and heart meds. he makes kurt's "driving style" look tame. so many good memories, Aaron and the Ms. extend their hospitality every year and it's gone beyond just ZR-1s to a full fleged gathering of exotics from many makes. I hope to make it, but a job change might get in the way. might be able to fly down or "hitch a ride" the LSV needs a couple of things done to it, but I'm planning on getting to it ASAP! |

Re: SGC this Nov.
First I'm hearing of this. About a 4 hour drive for me, so I'm considering it. What is the itinerary for someone that's never participated? Just show up or register etc?
