Shelby wheels
Anyone ever paint the centers of their Shelby's? Pics?

Re: Shelby wheels
Car belongs to Locobob - believe his centers are powdercoated a darker gun-metal color. Looks great!

Re: Shelby wheels
I'm wondering, anyone know the original paint code for the silver center. I was told it's some special paint. Mine have a few chips and I'd like to repaint them the original color.

Re: Shelby wheels

I sold them all in the first 45 days or so. Some to ZR-1 owners and then some to the F-Body guys. Cheers, |

Re: Shelby wheels
There's still a few sets out there somewhere. I found these about a year ago on another forum, new still in the box.

I bought an extra set and split them with another Z bro. We're going to each take a front and a back just in case we need them later. |

I used OEM GM ones like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Center...9fb922&vxp=mtr the problem with them is the tines ont he back to hold it on the wheel were too small of a Diamter: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-r...185357_321.jpg So I cut them off and then carefully removed the plastic part from the Shelby caps, put some #m Acrylic tape on them and attached them tot he GM Center caps Here is how they fit. even though they are not metal like the Shelby Caps they look good on my car https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7...192857_526.jpg |
Re: Shelby wheels
Those look great and in line with what I am looking for. I like the straight bowtie look. Will investigate doing this myself. Appreciate it
