Cam Timing Demonstration - Saturday, 16 March 2013 - WAZOO
 

The new motor is coming along and will be ready for degreeing in the cams in a couple of weeks. I will be glad to make a WAZOO show & tell event out of it for anyone interested in coming over. Target date is Saturday, March 16 starting around 10:30 in the morning. Expect it will take about 3 hours to go through the entire process. Here are some photos with the degree wheel and dial indicator set up.

Sorry I had to scoot out early, spousal unit needed the car. If I had known the forecast was going to be wrong, I would have just brought LilRed instead of Hans (Bimmer).

Thanks for having us over! Truly amazing is Phil's depth of knowledge and skill. It was a challenge keeping up with his explanation of the mechanics of the LT5, but he did a great job of breaking it down for us slow learners. I really got a lot out of our time Saturday...... In addition to seeing the WAZOO family.

Great day! well worth the drive down from Jersey to get a education on the LT5. It just wasnt the cams but almost everything else about her. The Crank he has is a thing of beauty. Cant wait till my brother Phil drops that motor in my car :-D Hey one can dream. Also a big Thank You to the Lovely Lady Laurie who was kind enough to hook us up with some killer cup cakes, I knocked out 4 of those :o Great meeting some new Wazoo members and seeing some good freinds. Look forward to the next event (just hope it closer, lol):cheers:
