Valve Cover Emblem ?'s

1. Who has them?
2. How much do they run?
3. How do you remove them?
Thanks, John

NLA but repros are available out there. I have a set of repros available if you need a pair. Jeffvette sells them and he PCs them and paints them by hand. I believe I bought this set from him or Carter200 that bought them from Dandy I honestly cant remember which and I have one pair available unused. The MY 90s are different from the MY 91-95. The pair I have are for the 91-95s. The colors are different not the shape or size. You wont find them in a Madvet or Ecklers catalog.

For originals ive seen them go on EBAY for over $125 easy thats EACH mind you and usually thats for a high quality used one. For a NOS mint unused one the skys the limit. The last mint pair of NOS emblems I saw on Ebay fetched almost $400 which is crazy I guess unless your a NCRS fanatic. The repros are in the about $125 a pair region.

Take a very small thin flat blade like a jewelers screwdriver to slowly pry up the edges. They will bend as you pry them up slowly as they are only potmetal. Work the sides and tops and bottom and go slow. Dont be surprised when they let go. The new emblem can be held in the camcover recesses by either using double sided adhesive or high temp RTV which is what I used on my car after getting the top end PCed.

PM if you want this pair I can pull them out of my garage stash and take a pic for you. Dont ask me why I bought two pairs, I just did lol GC

Another option is to leave them off and do what my friend Phil did to his 91 when he had the top end done. I think this looks pretty good as well. Just putting another idea out there for you. Daryll

Thanks Daryl. I gatta admit, I didnt expect them to be cheap, but dang!! I'll have my 92 at VOTR this year, and my engine looks pretty good, but the emblems have had it! PM me with a price when you get a chance.
Thank you, John
