Re: 1989 ZR-1
That one is especially interesting! It's early enough that it has '88 seats. At what point in the '89s did they switch to actual '89 seats? It's probably lived an interesting life as it has some miles on it, too. Thanks for posting this - it would awesome sitting next to #78!

Re: 1989 ZR-1
Wishing I could find "BowTie LT5" emblems as shown on rear bumper of that car for my red and my black.

Re: 1989 ZR-1
Wow this is an interesting car. I will be watching it from a far. I can't wait to see who this car goes to for its future preservation. Airbus, Any info on the restoration? Is it put back together as it should be? How does it drive? I realize that no one will drive it, but just curious to see is it a car or just remade to look like it should. Super interesting car.

Re: 1989 ZR-1
I've been told, 89 'pilot' cars had the Corvette script lower on the rear facia. It appears the restored example has the script higher than original placement...

Re: 1989 ZR-1
Incredible work on the reconstruction. And to have logged 32k miles (who knows how much it had before prior). I really like the white pearl. It checks all the cool boxes for sure with the '89 wheels and '88 seats. Can't wait to see what the bidding looks like, but we'll have to wait over four months!
