88 King Of The Hill ZR1 EX5023 Thread
Went through all of the boxes of parts that Geoff kept when he dis-assembled the car. Some nice surprises! A nice set of 88 dated wheels plus two extra 89 ZR1 wheels.

http://i53.tinypic.com/2r5timo.jpg QUOTE] Hole was for this. The item in rear is an ecm with spaces for 5 different calibration chips selectable by dip switches. The other item was velcroed to the dash and was used to read various engine data. There was wireing that was used to remote the ecm to the hatch area through that hole. The picture was taken at Geoffs shop in 98? He used the items to do the calibration to meet emission control levels when he worked for Lotus. http://deliquescence.net/~tyler/prot...gEquipment.jpg Wonder where that equipment is. LOL Tyler |

Very Nice. Is the 8000 rpm lens cracked? George

Got the estimate going for the roll over hoop and windshield frame today. Not going to waste any time on this part of the project.

Re: 88 ZR1 EX5023 Thread
It was Xmas in Nov today. Picked up these two NOS pieces for the rebuild, plus three empty birdcages that were used by General Tire, Marion, IN for panel fitment. GT made panels for GM. The three birdcage/frames have never been stamped with a vin. Great race car parts. One birdcage/frame will be canilbalized at the frame shop so EX5023 can be made whole again. Roll over hoop and windshield frame parts.
What were the odds of coming across an NOS ZR1 rear upper surround panel and luggage tub??? http://i52.tinypic.com/1059x4z.jpg |
