Also I would consider all of my corvettes no lesser of a Corvette than my Z's.

Robert, no disrespect meant about other Corvette's I have also owned many of most of the other gens. Just my feelings about the ZR-1 in my eyes it will always be the panicle of the modern era and the start of all the performance Corvettes to follow.

Steve, I know exactly what you are saying. Right now the ZR-1 is the best buy for the buck. I do not care if my Z's are ever worth any money. They are not an investment, they are a form of psychological therapy.

Doug, My ZHZ could have four cams.........I just have to put three additional cams in the trunk.

At the end of the day, that"s what those motors were built for. But without them, GM couldn't build a 53K C7.

By the time I was done with it, my '87 vert was virtually perfect; spectacular in every way. (see pic attached) That being said, I definitely do consider it a "lesser" Corvette than my Z. I loved it and really miss it, but it was only a small block 350 under the hood.
