Re: Drag Racing at BG
Just curious, what would a respectable MPH be for a stock rookie in a 1/4 mile?

Did that with Marc's chip and Corsa exhaust. Looking forward to April 27 with WAZOO when we go to the Mason Dixon dragstrip. Will be able to try out the new Hurst short shifter. |
Re: Drag Racing at BG
I don't understand why the club could not just borrow/gift Frank or whoever the money and each person drag racing pays it back to the club.
Frank,where do i send payment. Pete |

I'd offer to put it on my credit card, but a work stoppage nix'ed that. Well, I have to keep my powder dry now. Even my BG trip looks pretty "iffy" at this point. But, perhaps someone else might consider a similar arrangement so drag racing could take place w/o the club's involvement? Hope so! P. |
Re: Drag Racing at BG
Workin on it with Mr. JVD , who will be hosting his southern Kentucky BBQ.......and will do everything we can to not let anyone down guy's.
1- There is NO liability, and you know that Paul. Do you sign a waver when drag racing ? You race at your own risk. 2- When someone rent's the track. They rent the entire track and do as they please with it. There is no sneaking in etc. (cough). This is how business is done with gentelmen like Dallas. |
Re: Drag Racing at BG
Update 3/26 Look's like we have the track from 1-4pm on Thursday 5/16/2013. We can get the track for a longer period of time , but I see no need too.

Re: Drag Racing at BG
Based on the current number of participants, what would the cost be per car?
