Hey thanks for the interest again. I look on this site and realize the years not months fly by I figured 1 year for this and its been three. As we all get older times goes faster. Good thing is when I get back on this site makes me want to finish it and take it to some big meet and show it off. When you have the money you dont have the time when you have the time you don't have money. Life is funny that way. Good news is worked on my outlaw race car ( ford sorry) finally got the chassis figured out and made an easy pass and went 7.89 @187 lifted 7.5 second in the run in the quarter mile. I lifted cause it felt like it wasn't a good run so smooth. I will try to post a video if any one is interested in seeing it. This was at 8500 ft altitude

Thank you for the compliment. It is a MSD 250 amp or so deal. I took it apart and powder coated it. It was polished and that would not have matched the look I was trying to get. You are the only person who has ever noticed. I figured that with so much electrical stuff to drive need a very large alt. I will have At least Three computers to run the engine ,Igniton, and transmission. I changed the engine to coil on plug instead of waste spark. I will post more pictures soon Thanks again.
My 69 is or was nothing special but love the look of 69 camaro and of the 70 cuda (even better lines) but I wanted something really different and off the wall since this will make my third twin turbo car I currently have it only seemed natural to do. My 07 is twinded and my race car is twined so must have a street car that is twined Quote:

yep found them..
LT5X Head Studs Manufactured from ARP 2000 grade (rod bolt) material, these studs are designed to bottom on existing block bolt threads resulting in increased engagement and reduced thread stress. At 120 ft/lbs of torque (using 30w oil) these studs result in up to 35% greater clamping force and do not require re-torque. Each kit contains 20 studs, hardened washers, and 12 point nuts. Price: $1360 |

I'd be on a noodle diet for about six months just to afford those head studs.....and another six months as I bet the nuts & washers are not included? Jez these motors get expensive!:jawdrop:
