Seems to be 3 choices when it comes to brake rotors for these cars....

Chinese Garbage
Stock
Super Expensive

Is there anything priced in the middle with good quality also?

Finally made a decision...
Do I really need "race car" brakes and the potential headaches with MCs and proportioning valves etc.?
I guess not... Not to mention saving over $1200... :)
So.... I'm going with just "pretty" (probably what I wanted all along)? OK, go ahead... harass me... :o
Rebuilt calipers in red powder coat front and rear from Keen Parts. Ordered the parts today, should have them in a couple days.
With the existing braided stainless lines, Baer Eradispeed rotors F & R and Hawk HPS pads, I'm arguably as far as you can go performance wise with "stock" type brakes. And now, they'll be "pretty" too! ;)
Gonna have to withdraw my LeMans entry form, hope I get the entrance fee back...

Good choice for your needs and use. No need to get into the “My brakes are bigger than your brakes!”. I hope you get a full refund!! [emoji38][emoji1303]🤙🏼

Re: Sitting here in the doldrums of Winter and this is the thought that came to mind.

I can only say I love my Z06 brakes. Converting to them is a bit costly since it requires at least 18” wheels F/R. I originally started w just the fronts but went with the Street Shop conversion for the rear for aesthetics. Not an inexpensive piece but what the heck.
Having said all that, even street driving changes. There’s simply no occasion that I have encountered where I have needed to stand on the brakes. I typically STOP sooner than I expect to. With much less effort.
Not trying to convince anybody, just trying to give my observations of what the bigger brakes are like.

Here’s a link to a good article on brake mods. It’s from a Euro parts site but is applicable to all cars... (hope the link works?)
