Admittedly, the market is very thin for ZR-1's like this but it is still viable. Selling one will take time & running ads in Hemmings, DuPont & listing on the web where a google search will find it. In my opinion, the most valuable production run ZR-1's will be 95's & 93 Ruby ZR-1's. It's a toss-up which of those two is on top, but it really doesn't matter. To the subject matter of this thread, 1994 ZR-1 with 5900 miles & original. It's going to fall in between the museum grade requirements and the "driver," due to the miles and model year. I think the 94 model would rank 3rd on the list, simply because it's so close to the 95 in refinements and the production run of both years combined is far less than either 1990 or 1991. All things considered, I think the Seller of the 1994 w/5900 miles is asking a reasonable price. Just advertise & be patient. It may take a couple of years. If selling is an urgent issue, then it's going to affect the sales price. |

Although I would also suggest a THOROUGH detail, then new and many more pictures. No dust on the steering column or bugs and fine haze on the paint, etc. Make it look like the 5900 miles that it is! Again, beautiful car, and GLWS! Marty |

So let's summarize your basis for your "Estimate". Because your personal experience in buying salvage or in common parlance, junk, has seen low or falling prices, you conclude that near museum quality or concours capable car values behave the same way. Really? Why not this. As junked ones become less expensive because they are more plentiful, the population of remaining quality ones diminishes. As this trend continues, the only result is higher prices for those that remain. At any rate, there will always be buyers at both ends of the spectrum. Some want cheap, while others want the best. Neither buyer has much interest in the other. Price is determined as much by supply as it is by demand. My first comment on this topic was " they are not making more of them". As time goes by, that will continue to drive the price more and more. OP - Yet Again; Beautiful car, and GLWS! Marty |

Thanks to you SPORK you have succeeded in turning the OPs thread into total crap. I'd be pissed if it were my thread. MODERATOR,this train wreck needs to be locked. It's now turned into a tit for tat thread that's never going to end. To those of use that have been around for years you can sure tell who the new people are. WE are respectful of one another and would never polute someone's thread in such a way that has been done to this one,we just don't do that. I will say this, the fact that the car is low miles, one owner and a color combo not too common on the 405 HP cars makes it stand out. SPORK,please don't respond to this,I don't need anymore of your -reasoning- in regards what the cars worth.
