Re: Denver ZR-1 Meeting
Hog, that pushrod car was parked there when we arrived and there was hardly any places to park due to too many cars. When the herd thinned out we got our Z's together for the pic. The driver of that pushrod car was a lady with her young daughter.

Re: Denver ZR-1 Meeting
I am not planning on going to Cars and Coffee , but I hope some fellow Denver area ZR-1 owners will join me a the Golden Super Cruise-in this Saturday (8/2) evening at 5pm. I will try to park my Steel Blue Z in front of or near - Goozell Yogurt & Coffee - at 1200 Washington Ave Golden CO 80401.
This is the epicenter of Golden and the cruise. Call me at 410-530-0630 to meet up. If you want to park in downtown, you may want to stake out your spot earlier than 5pm. Cruise Map and information: http://www.goldensupercruise.com/area_maps_1.htm 5 to 9 PM on South Golden Road in Golden CO First Saturday each month May thru October |
Re: Denver ZR-1 Meeting
I'll be at Golden Super Cruise too. Don't normally go down that far, might cruise down to see if I can find you. I normally park down by Sonic at Ulysses and South Golden Road.

Re: Denver ZR-1 Meeting
Hey Guys,
I live in Colorado Springs. Always wanted a C4 ZR-1 and I finally found a 1990 C4 ZR-1. I flew to it in Redlands CA at a place called Play Toys. 17,335 original miles, CARFAX and Window Sticker. Red on Red. Paid for it and flew back. It ships in a enclosed transporter Friday or Saturday and arrived either Monday or Tuesday. Original tires so that is the first thing I'll do is put tires on it. I ran it up to 90 on the test drive and thought about the original tires and backed off. I've been doing a lot of reading on it, but still have loads of questions. It doesn't have the pizza box and books. Anyone have any ideas where I can find/buy one for a 1990 ZR-1? Does anyone have any idea how many ZR-1s are in CO? Anyone know how I can find out how many 1990 Red on Red ZR-1s were produced? I told you I had questionl! God Bless, rick |
Re: Denver ZR-1 Meeting
Welcome to the forum rmendoza. Csavaglio down in AZ had a 1990 Service manual for sale on here awhile back. Maybe you could contact him to see if its still available. I don't know about the pizza box availability as they are somewhat rarer. According to the info in the forum there are at least 15 ZR1's here in Colorado. I know of 5 personally and 1 of those was for sale in Castle Rock. I think Dynomite can possibly answer how many red on red there were as he is cornering the market on the red ones. :)

Re: Denver ZR-1 Meeting
Hey Darby, we saw ya about 5PM at the Golden Cruise as you were headed up Washington toward 19th street. We were in front of the yogurt shop on 12th but didn't see Bert or Colorado ZR1. We left 12th about 5:10 pm to head up to the Sonic but there were way too many (hundreds) cars to get in. Some really nice iron and plastic at the cruise today.
