Is your mechanic sure the PROM is fully seated and locked? I had a similar issue... dropped the hood closed and the car shut down. Restarted it and no issue. Dropped the hood again and the same thing. Open the access door to the PROM and found one of the bail locks was not locked and the PROM was loose. Reseated and relocked it, no more problem with shutting down. |
