62 and 10 years with my ZR-1. Looking forward to retiring so I can spend more time with her.

I’m 37. Just got my zr1. I had a zr1 poster when I was a kid and I feel very lucky that I was able to get one.

I finally figured it out - I'm still 18 trapped in an older body (made it to the 3/4 century mark earlier this year)

The United States Army Field Band of Washington, D.C.
the band was formed from combat musicians at the close of WWII - since then there have been a total of approx. 1600 members, half of whom have already passed. I was honored to have served with several distinguished veterans of WWII including a Pearl survivor who was playing colors on deck when the attack started.

TUSAFB is the only band to have its own badge (other bands wear the badge of the fort/post where they are located). My avatar is the badge. We were attached directly to the Pentagon but rehearsed up the road at Ft. Meade. Mostly we were on the road promoting patriotism, the American story, and more.

Thanks for asking.
