Anyone coming to the Gathering have a driver side rear hatch strut I can get from them. Doesn't have to be real good. The one in my "old" car is completely blown and leaking.

Regarding the cruise: I am working on putting together a drive out to the Evergreen air and space museum (home of the Spruce Goose) in McMinnville. Still finalizing the route details - probably be about an hour each way from the dyno facility.

Patti & I will be in Thurs late afternoon. We are staying at the Quality Inn 7001 NE Hwy 99 Vancouver for Thursday night, close to Tom Wongs shop where I'm having my car dynoed possibly late Thursday evening or Friday morning. The dyno time won't be determined until I'm checked in & call Tom.

So, don't count on me Thursday evening, coming from MT I don't want to questimate an arrival time even if I factor in 2-3 breakdowns at an hour each and several hundred dollars in tow fees(a low milage car).

We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Salmon Creek for Fri/Sat nights....Watch Out!!!

P.S. Patti maybe leaving me without my ride on Saturday depending on her and Jeffs Sat. plans. I may be available(good catch) to ride along on the drive if someone is attending the event on their lonesome, we'll know Friday.....:D

Well, here's a preliminary account of the weekend so far. Just got home from another very successful PNW ZR-1 Net Registry gathering; our sixth annual. We had a great turnout for the Friday night BBQ, and a nice showing for the Saturday dyno and cruise to the Evergreen Museum in McMinnville, OR (home of the "Spruce Goose").

A lot of photos were taken, some of which appear below. All the details can eventually be found at www.pnwzr1.net.

We made it home OK. What a drive, not as long as Bob's or Jerry's but long enough. We had a great time. Thanks to Jeff's Dad for the BBQ and those that got 'er done again this year. You know who you are.

Want to thank everyone involved in the planning and execution of the PNW Gathering, another successful event. Enjoyed all the events (as I have for the last 3 yrs) but most enjoyed meeting the folks from the last events and the new folks. Already marked the calender for next year.

Jeff could you ask the people at Portland Raceway to please mark and light the finish line at the drag strip!

Jerry/I made it back to diamond lake in 6 hrs. without getting pulled over/The rice rocket that passed me at 100 plus was not so lucky/bikes love hwy 14 with the curves and all,and the cop that pulled him over,looked me over as I passed with the clutch in at idle,but let me keep rollin on.Thanks to everyone for the good time.And Jerry,when you get old your eyes do not work so well at night at 100;;;; joe

Holy crap what a weekend!!!! I finally got rid of Dwight this morning as well!
