Finally got the MT DRs and Hoosiers on Pete's old front skinny A-molds so I'll be ready to do battle with you speedy MD boys, weather permitting of course.

Jim, thank you very much for the offer. Depending on how things go, I might take you up on it. It only takes a few minutes to exchange the stock leaf spring bolts for the longer aftermarket bolts. I've manage to change one in between a bunch of "honey do's" today. I will get the other bolt changed out tonight and test drive it.

As long as nothing rubs, it would be great to drive up to your place and do the final adjustment on a lift. With a lift, I could get under the car easily enough to make the adjustments and immediately test drive it. (It seems the lift would eliminate me having to raise the car, set the jack stand, remove the tire, adjust leaf spring bolt, and then reverse the process - probably 3 or so times!)

What are you doing Tuesday besides vote?

Thanks.

You can adjust the nut with the car on the ground. Though perhaps that's not good for the nyloc type nut?

It is possible but difficult. I think is because the extra inch of rim I have is on the inside. Also, I'm using a plain nut until I get the adjustment correct. Then I plan to put on the nyloc nut.

Thanks Jim, I'll be watching for it. Did you include a phone number? I'll give you a call before hand.

I just sent an eMail to our list of MD and NoVA ZR-1 owners. I hope some other area ZR-1's will join us for a day at the races, either to race or just to come and hang out.

Looks like rain is forecast for next Saturday, which is a good sign that it won't rain then. If they were forecasting a perfect day, I'd be worried!

Heard from many Z owners...

Frank said he might come too! With or without the Z, come visit Frank.
