Re: I really want a C8
The C4 ZR is raw which is so fun to drive. You get the mechanical noises and a direct connection to driving. If I could I?d love to have both.

Re: I really want a C8
I think you would miss that Z eventually.........Sure the C8 is new, faster, handles better, new tech inside and out. But slapping paddle shifters after awhile would be the dealer killer for me. I enjoy the engagement of a manual car
Plus I would miss being in a select club of people with special cars. How people freak out on the car, having never seen one in person. That I would miss...... I hear what you are saying though and understand the pull of it.......I'd LOVE a C6 Grand Sport 6M, or in my dreams, a C6 ZR-1. But then I think about how raw ( no ABS or traction control) and engaging my 91Z is, and that to me is why I will never sell. |
Re: I really want a C8
The community is one more compelling reason to keep the car even though they are a scarce sight anywhere but maybe a Corvette show. But popularity for C4s in general seems to be building with the Z the top dog,I've waited close to 20 years for this car to once again be in the spotlight,it would be a shame to miss out on that.

Re: I really want a C8
I have both and love the ZR-1 much more than the C8. As many have commented I wish I had gotten a C7 Z06 instead. The wife wanted the C8 so that is what we got. Mistake #1. Then we got a Genesis GV70. Too small. Mistake #2. Got rid of the Bently. Mistake #3. I give up.
