Try allowing the cookies to remain on the computer rather than having them automatically removed. You can always manually remove them any time you like. If that doesn't work, you can always return the settings to automatic removal. As a temporary solution, copy your post prior to hitting the submit button. That way if you get logged out and your post disappears, you can log back in as usual then paste the post and submit it. For that matter you can compose your posts in another format (Word, Outlook) then paste them without fear of them being lost. |

Re: Ruby's in the house
Are you sure that you have set IE to not remove the cookies or the history? Have you also checked to make sure no spyware program or virus security suite is not removing your history or cookies?
Those are the most likely reasons for this to be happening. |
Re: Ruby's in the house
try what ZF said abt the cookies thing and if no worky-- then load up firefox browser it will have cookies in the fresh download-- if you look at my post on the 1st page you will see I suggested it back then. You may just end up liking the firefox browser better than IE by microsoft--I know I do. For spyware I use lavasoft it is free and works excellent ---
Do you know how to clean up your c drive and compress and defragment? if not-- get a puter nut to show you how--if you do all these things u just might be surprised how well ur puter works afterwards---puters need maintainence just like our Z's do!!! here are the links try wem u have nothing to loose!!! http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php they are both free --and I was not kidding abt the c drive biz either you need click on lower left start -- then click on "control panel"--then click on "performance and maintainence" then click on "free up space on your hard disc" and select all the things you do not need (this is where the puter geek can advise you) after that click on "rearrange items on your hard disc to make programs run faster". This one will take a while esp if you have not run it for a while (I do my puter every month for good measure--most do at least once a year. A lot of folks think they do not have to do these things--but guess what it is like not changing the air filter and oil and filters in your ride!! now you would not do this to your ride right??--same with ur puter be bold do not fear you can do it!!! now if after all of this it does not work you either need to get a new puter or save all ur files on another puter and have a new IE windows xp or vista loaded on ur puter at best buy or circuit city and start fresh--just like a new puter---this one will fix anything!!! if not ur puter is really broke!!! lol consulting invoice is in the mail to you ---remember net 30 days to pay me!!! lol |
