Re: Haibeck Automotive or Evolution Motorsports
We sendt our car to Marc Haibeck who gave it a full tune up and service before it was shipped over to Norway. He fixed every little bug and replaced or repaired whatever was needed like the cd player, a shock, misc screws, bolts and light bulbs etc. Well worth the money. I have also emailed him several times with questions I might have and he always replies with detailed info. Very appreciated.

If you can't do it yourself I'd use Marc. I would strongly advise to not stay local to you!

Re: Haibeck Automotive or Evolution Motorsports
I contacted Marc Haibeck in Jan of 2021. The car wouldn't run in full power mode and the list of issues was building up. A space opened up in March and I paid $1100 to have the car transported to him. The car was there about 3 months and we planned the pickup to coincide with his summer BBQ. The wife and I flew out, stayed in a nice hotel downtown and did some nice tourism. Had a great time meeting a ton of ZR-1 people and hit the road home. We stopped overnight to break it up.
Marc did intake porting, fixed my fuel gauge, replaced the front shocks and bushings, replaced my garbage short shifter, and replaced both cooling fans and the radiator. He fixed leaks that I wasn't aware of. Probably more stuff that I'm forgetting. When I read all of these forum posts about chasing down problems and poor running conditions, I am reminded of what an amazing job that Marc did. My car came home with 450HP (flywheel) and has never missed a beat. The guy, and his son, are absolutely masters of their craft. I think I spent about $8700 with him, plus the transport, headers, shocks and the radiator. WORTH IT!!!!! Side note: the one thing he didn't touch failed on the ride home. Pretty sure we took a stone to the air conditioning condenser and the AC failed in Indiana on the way to Maryland. I am in debt to my wonderful wife for tolerating that loud and very hot ride home :) |

I will be taking my 90 to Marc soon for a few little things. He is only 40 minutes away for me.

Re: Haibeck Automotive or Evolution Motorsports
I gladly drive the four and half hours from Michigan to Marc's shop for service or repairs. I always learn something when I'm there. I drop my car off and rent a car to return home or schedule it for some time when I want/have to go to Chicago.
