First picture shows an impact bar on a ZR-1 (the one that you provided).

Second picture shows a "regular C4" impact bar that I just found on eBay. I cannot see any difference. Maybe it is wider, but I cannot see it.

I have impact bar from a 1990 ZR-1.

I was in Chicago picking up rear quarter panel and bumper cover 2 days ago... Damn it. I'll call the dealership tomorrow, and if Base is the same as ZR-1 I'll search more locally.

I just saw your previous post describing the pictures. I assumed you were talking about the assembly, you're talking about just the bar. It's the impact bumpers that will be next to impossible to find. The aluminum bar may indeed be the same.

So are you rebuilding a wrecked car?

Impact bumper? Bar goes with the whole assembly, and I already found the absorber and bumper cover... I'm not sure what you mean.

I got rear-ended on a highway in Montreal. The guy left his car there and left, running. I could see it happen so I took a picture of him just before he left (he didn't see that part). He declared the car as being stolen a few minutes after it happened. I guess he's in trouble now.

The absorbers are the difficult part. If you have those, you’re good to go.

Bump, I thought local scrapyards had Base C4s. I was wrong.

Bump, the only part missing is the rear impact bar!
