My 1990 had nearly the same idle problem. Replaced the prom with # 16163905 im February 2000 and problem solved. The prom at the time was$45.95.

Thanks Richard. I’m not discounting a leaking vacuum hose but I’ve been through the vacuum system making sure the connections were secure. I was looking into replacing the prom. Thanks for the help.
