Re: 1990 ZR1 in NH

I think that the car pictured in the original post (in the garage with multiple Corvettes) belongs to the OP and is not the car for sale.

The car pictured is a black/black (matching the OP's signature block, and not black/grey as the car for sale is described), has the front plate cover, and no splash guards attached - all different than images the Craigslist ad.

That said, the exterior cosmetics of the car being offered for sale do look good. No pictures of the interior, engine or undercarriage... and then there is the comment on the transmission noise.

OP:living in the 80's.

I may be relocating to CT...any problems running Z's through
Licensing up there? I have a 415 and a (soon) TT 368.

Appreciate any info, though it's off the original thread topic.

If you can live NH and commute you will have no issues with either car. Not sure about CT though.

No emissions check 1992 and older!

From the CT DMV website:
New to Connecticut?
If you are bringing a vehicle to Connecticut from another state, you have 60 days to transfer your previous vehicle registration to the Connecticut DMV.
Before registering your vehicle, new CT residents will first need to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) verified and emissions tested at an emissions testing center. You may be exempt from emissions testing depending on the type of vehicle you own.
Once this is done, visit your local CT DMV office with:
Your out-of-state Certificate of Title and vehicle registration certificate.
Your emissions report or VIN verification report.
Your current CT insurance identification card.
An acceptable form of identification, such as your:
Driver's license.
ID card.
Military ID card.
NOTE: You must not have any outstanding property tax payments or parking tickets, or have previously had your registration privilege suspended.
In addition, as a new resident in Connecticut, you have 30 days to transfer your out-of-state driver's license to a Connecticut license.

Where are you moving to in CT?
Welcome to the Nutmeg State... There's about 15 ZR-1s that I know of in CT and we have occasional GTGs

Also, if you register it with vintage plates, you only pay property tax based on $500 assessed value.

80's/Mystic,

Great, I appreciate the information. Thank you.

I'll probably be in the south east corner perhaps
Old Lyme, seems the schools are well thought of.

Take care
