Near Impossible Issues

Any one of these make you say "bad words" you'd rather nobody else might hear!:jawdrop:

As Paul suggests....there are many other issues to think about and in one way or other I have solved them all with a few "bad words".
I install the ZFdoc C4 Beam Plates on ALL Corvettes to solve the issue of Paul using "bad words" on that issue ;)

A List of Other Potential Issues that can be costly if one reaches the point of tossing wrenches. I almost reached that point several times but got lucky by sitting back and thinking up a solution.
1. Removing Cam Covers with Engine in Car with the Torx 40s frozen in place.
2. Removing Injector Housing Bolts that have been corroded in place.
3. Trying to remove and breaking off a Thermostat Housing bolt.
4. Removing a corroded in place Radiator Hose.
5. Removing a Radiator Hose Spring Clamp that is facing the wrong way using any tool.
6. Removing a Pilot Bearing that has been glued in place.
7. There exist several others I do not want to think about at the moment :sign10:

All these make the removal of #8 Spark Plug very easy :D

Blackhawk 5/8" Spark Plug Swivel Socket 3/8" Drive.

I just want to make sure I place one of these tools in each Corvette
which is the reason I have a box full of the Spark Plug Removal Tool
:p

Just think of all the Vettes you still have to buy to make efficient use of the box full of those swivel sockets....or you could start a new business selling them here......lol

I ran across these on Ebay as some guy wanted to unload the whole box for a few bucks.....I thought at that rate I could give them to the guys/gals that stop by with LT5 issues for my fixing.....kinda Frosting on the Cake :D

Every one with an LT5 should have one of these Spark Plug Tools in the box behind the Drivers Seat right along with the Lug Wrench.

Emergency Kit.....15 ft tow rope (5,000 lb vehicle rating), Jumper Cables, Tow Adapter, Lug Wrench

Search Gorilla Lug Wrench on Ebay.

The beauty of the Gorilla Lug wrench is that it is telescopic for all kinds of leverage.

IIRC, if the poster of the pix pays the annual ransom, they will allow them to post pix again. (Photobucket was a "free" picture storage service for some years. If you wanted access to their site w/o advertising, there was a small periodic fee to have no adverts. But, then, out of the blue, they slammed the door; demanding a hefty annual "ransom" to post the pictures saved on their site.

Speaking for myself, I was able to pull off a number of my photos, bringing them back to my computer. However, beginning last year, suddenly Windows 7 would not open them. Switching to Win 10 didn't help either. Fortunately, most of the important photos were opened and stored in another format that allows me to use them. Wish I could say the same for those pix that were among the last ones that I transferred back.

I admit to being a computer neophyte, in spite of using them since the 70s. I've even written several apps for my work use. But, the computer to me is just a toolbox and the software is the tools inside. When I have a job to do, I go to the 'toolbox' and fetch the tool and do the job. But, don't bother me with trying to fix the toolbox (the computer) or the tools software) within. If a tool breaks, I go find a newer model to replace it and hope the toolbox is big enough to contain it! (If I really get stuck, I call my grandson for help! :p

Luckily there are other good threads on the subject.

Don’t forget the excellent “Solutions” thread sticky by Cliff at the top of the Tech section here. It has just about every answer out there.
