Re: ECM Labels "SNAPSHOTS" & confirmations

This is cool! I think that I had a shot of a 94Z ECM label from Texas. What I finally did is go to car show back in March with my 93 Ruby ZR-1 and lo and behold, another Ruby ZR-1 shows up. It was owned by a NCRS guy and sold to this guy who only had it two weeks. It's around Knoxville, TN area. He had a perfect ECM lable so I copied it and use it on my Ruby. My VIN is 334 and his was 265 so we were very close in build dates.

I took the shot to a printing shop and she duplicated it with her laser printer. Looks great!

By the way, I took first place beating the other Ruby ZR-1. He came in third.

Any year LT5 ECM is compatible w any year ZR-1 as long as the prom is calibrated w the correct binary layout(Mask ID) for that particular year.
Each year from 90-92 has 2 Mask IDs(ie $AF/AFA for 91), while 93-95 are all the same Mask ID($F0/F0A).
