Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
Gunny,
Your going to have a hard time finding a 70 C3 ZR1 there was only 26 made with only 7 convertibles, I have one of the 7 convertibles. Good luck, Nelson007 Quote:

Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
I would have a couple of different cars since I have had other cars in the past. I would however, get my Z to where I want it to be.. Lingenfelter wide body with a nelson Racing engine 500 cube LT5 twin turbo.... with very high level of detail and workmanship... some Fikse with 345 in the rears...black and black of course... it would be one of the finest and fastest cars in the world. I would also have a c6 427 convertible as my non aggressive weekend ride and a 6 door Black on Black Lincoln Towncar personal limousine. Throw in a 4 door pickup dually Dodge cummins diesel (black on black) for yard duty and chore mobile. Also a Black Burgman Suzuki 650 Scooter to jet around in. Thats it.

Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
My buddy has a 2,000 SF Man Cave. It's really very beautiful. Flat screen TVs all around, jacuzzi, loft/mesanine so he has a bedroom way up so he can look down on his Collection. Full kitchen and bar, washer and dryer, etc. He has 5 machines inside from vipers to vettes to mustangs and one ferrari and can easily fit 4 more. Two HDs and even a Prowler. He actually lives there over his normal beachfront condo. He is NOT married and he can pull the money trigger whenever he wants! I think being single is kinda nice these days. Oh and did I mention he has a weekly rotation of beautiful young women coming and going! =D>

Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
in response to the question of C4/ZR1s I would have -
keep my current 94 with Haibeck 500 pkg Callaway ZR-1 Matching pair of 93 40th anniv - a ZR-1 and convert 6 spd One of the last 3 yellow ZR-1s built callaway twin turbo L98 96 LT-4 car 93 black rose/gray ZR1 Hmmm, that's only 8. well, enough spare parts to build two more ZR-1s |
Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
If my buddy allows me to do it - I will take some Pics of his Warehouse Man Cave showing his C4s, among other machines. It is really amazing.

Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
I would keep my car, look for the 1991 skunk car that for sale last year then lastly I would build the infamous convertible based on a 1991 with a slightly warmed over motor. Then I'd look for a low mileage as close to new as possible C6 ZR1.

Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
I would have 3.....my Lingenfelter, a very low mile '90 Quasar Blue, and a very low mileage '95 in either Yellow/Black or Dark red Metallic/Black that I would use for touring.....
Then I would add a C6 ZR1 and get my Silver BB '73 back and have a frame up done on it. Then I would have a no expense restoration done on the bus, add a matching trailer, and maybe a couple of very high performance sedans, with a nice 4x4 to round out the collection. |

Re: How Deep is your ZR-1 Passion?
Attended a work-related function yesterday involving anglers and hunters, and one of the speakers said "my greatest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell my gear for what I told her I paid for it". Hum, seemingly fitting for our passion as well...
