Gorgeous! I love the color, looks similar to the Marina blue on my 67. Was this color ever used in production? I'm obviously a fan of Blue...

Re: EX5023 and EX5014 Together Again
Yes. EX5023, my car, was squished by a front end loader by a UK salvage yard. It still retains all of its original suspension and undercarriage, as well as a couple of its original body panels.

Re: EX5023 and EX5014 Together Again
Finally worked on EX5023 today. It's nice to be able to work on one of my own cars for a change.
Installed all new fuel lines from the tank to the LT5. Big job since the rear suspension must be dropped to get the lines between the batwing and the underbody. All new brake system was installed as well. Only need to troubleshoot fuel pressure in order to be 100% mechanically sound. Fires right up. Just idles around 400 rpm and will not increase with the throttle. Next up, install the new interior and put the cover on it for storage. It's been a long project but I really haven't had a lot of time to devote to it. |
