They know you have a permit before approaching the car. And you're suppose to volunteer the info before being asked. They are not only completely legal to own down here but with training legal to carry. You just NEVER want to let someone see it unless you're going to use it. |
Re: Guns
Alright, thanks guys, concealed carry isnt something I have any experience with. For obvious reasons.
Thanks again. peace Hog |
Re: Guns
I never get pulled over because I am always very careful to obey all traffic laws. :-D
In Indiana, I don't believe there is language in the carry permit that requires the handgun to be concealed. I have seen non-LEO citizens with open view side-arms in our local diner recently. And fine by me. |
Re: Guns
In NH anybody can carry openly. But you better have a concealed carry permit if that weapon is not in plain view.

Re: Guns
In Idaho you only need to let an officer know if you are packing. As others have mentioned, they already know if you have a permit before they approach.

Re: Guns
Yeah, my best friend has a farm in Charlestown. I go up every year for a week of sledding (except last year when we had more snow is Texas than you guys did!). The year before we rode almost 500 miles in a week and I was completely toast. Couldn't use my right thumb for a month. Loved it.

When I was in the Army, I remember this certain female officer, she would literally stroke her handgun as she walked around. You could tell that she really liked being able to carry it. peace Hog |
