Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
Yeah, that's a sharp car. Are you buying it from him or selling it for him?
|
Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
Says he going to put it on EBay, with 32K reserve. He said the car is worth about 21k without the 14k of mods, street skinner package, 409's, tunable exhaust, 94 wheels. The car is in great shape, I want to bid on it when it goes up but was not sure how high to go.

Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
IMO - he won't get $32k. Not that it's not worth it. I just think the ZR-1 market is too soft right now.
It'll be interesting to watch, tho. |
Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
He said that there were only about 30 Street Skinners and most were the 2 bolt main LT5's. He said the two sold last year were 90's and they went for 26k.

Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
2 bolt vs 4 bolt doesn't matter and mods don't add value to a car. I wish him the best in his sale, the higher the average price for sales is, the more it helps all of us

Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
Question, why does it not matter 2 or 4 bolt ? The 4 bolt mains were stronger bottom end ? Is that not why L82's are more disreable than L48's ? Getting educated so I can make the correct decision on my offer.

Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
the car that set the world endurance records was a 2 bolt car...the cars that did the validation testing were 2 bolts. 2 bolt cars are plenty strong, I can't speak to why they went to 4 bolts but these aren't your standard 350's

Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
Very helpful, thanks for the info, kinda shoots down one of his selling points.

Re: ZR-1 Street Skinner
I've bought my 90 #2 Street Skinner for $12.5K. Need paint and some interior work. With 78K to give you an idea....
