Havn't touched it in a while. Second kid arrived and we're buying a house this spring. Did find some nice OEM A-molds in Lansing for $300 so it has wheels, ha.

Interesting comment! I thought Fastlane was the only one to try solid lifters? Can't make it to Detroit this weekend, maybe someone from the east side of the state could attend?

The engine has a Stock Car Products dry sump pump with a Peterson tank. The internal mods are Crower custom billet steel cams, Supertech solid lifter buckets, a Bryant billet 3" stroke crankshaft, Oliver billet rods and JE pistons. It also has a custom Bonefied billet front cover, billet aluminum oil pan and a Lotus Aardvark intake and injectors. If you want to know more about it the car is going to be at the upcoming Detroit Autorama this weekend.

They tested a high HP solid lifter for one of the open road events....built at Mercury but it below up on the dyno...some of the race cars ran solid lifters
