Mojave is next door to Edwards Air Force Base(Chuck Yeager, Right Stuff)

My car is a Haibeck 350/422 RWHP, 4.10 gears
Biggest issue is traction in 1st
Sure is fun pulling 5th from 120 to 170MPH
Car ran great but U joints gave it up, replaced all 6 when I got home

I wonder what will happen at 1.5 miles. I'll have to shift to 6th
because I'm at 7K+ RPM now in 5th gear at the end of the mile,
4:10 rear end. Just seems to slow down if I shift to 6th short
of the mile. What do you think?

Re: Mojave Mile

I had heard 4.10 was still not enough to pull 6th, but I am not sure

Re: Mojave Mile

I think both of our cars have enough power to pull 6th, but we only have .5 mile to do it, Lets find out the answer to the big ?
