Would that car be the one that Keith Beschi has the remains of? He owns the yellow 86 with the Phase1 engine.

Keith has the car that originally had LT5013.

A quick cross reference shows that:

Keiths Car:
D131FPW
Was P8Y044 used for Lotus Emissions

White car in HOTB page 86/87
D137FPW
Was P8Y030 used for MPG Transmission

D138FPW
Was P8Y038 used for CPC ETC

All three of these are 86 narrow bodies.

According to your import dates these had to be 1986 cars. Keiths car is a collection of those 3 cars and a donar car, where is Ed Simmons when we need him. They were pretty smashed up.

They started producing 87s in August of 1986 so they could be 1987MY. My bet is the VIN numbers are all relatively low. Eric

Very interesting stuff, especially the data on the very first LT5 ever!

I hope you will post all the pages from that book soon!

The Status Report is about 2in thick, so I probably won't get around to doing that. LOL. I'll just keep it with my car, since it's one of the only prototypes to survive.

Send it to me I'll scan it:wave:

I know it's not something you could risk having it in the mail, would hate to see if lost, would be cool to have a copy.....great stuff!

I may end up putting it on disc someday. I spoke with Jim Minneker at length at the McDorman auction a couple of weeks ago and I changed my perspective on some things. He's a very cool ZR1 guy. He has more knowledge than probably anyone on these cars and should get credit for his contributions to the program.

See Ya!

I do not have a copy 'yet' and will not make it this weekend as I have to work. Will have a copy in January at the NCRS meet.

Gordon K pulled the build sheets for those cars some years ago and said they were normal production MY 86 cars sent to England as mules with no ZR-1 parts.
