:worship: P,

That is very nice and the red lettering really "POPS". I wish I was at this stage too. I wonder how many months it will take me to degree in my cams :icon_scra:confused: Great job!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. Last time I tried taping, cutting, and then spraying (on the plenum). But, it took quite a while to mask/trim and even then the paint crept up under the tape too much and was an added pain to clean up. The whole process took 2-3 hours.

This time I just hand-painted the lettering with a camel hair brush, and it turned out to be a lot faster and easier. Cleanup was done with a Q-tip that was very slightly dampened with fingernail polish remover (aka acetone). Start to finish was under an hour.

Pete n Bob G put their magic touch on my cams - the details of which they keep hidden in a Mason jar buried in Pete's back yard (or so Pete says!;)) But, they'd prolly be glad if you flew them out there to set yours up for ya!

P,

I remember hand painting all my stuff too and thanks to Carter for all the tips and tricks since he is a pro at this stuff. I still really love the "RED" lettering. Again, very nice work.

I'm starting to collect up the items needed to degree in the cams and hopefully I won't dork it up. I really don't want to just do the pin job like the factory as I know there is some valuable HP hidden there. I wish I could fly out he pros to do this; I still can't believe I'm building my own LT5.............very spooky thought. Best wishes with the rest of the build.fahne
