I got a question :D

The New Posts shows posts that are new in what period of time? In other words....if I do not click on that for a year...what might I see (just new posts in the last week for example)?

New posts should be all the 'New' posts since your last visit to the forum

So...if I log on "visit" the forum (lets say last week), and I do not click on new posts, I then log off.......when I log on again (lets say today) and now click "new posts" it will only show those new posts since I last logged on (in the example...last week).

I will have missed all those "new posts" I did not look at when I logged on last week.

Now if I stay logged on...it is a different story I assume. Every time I click new posts the new posts (same new posts) seem to stay for a period of time.

This is like selecting antifreeze or radiators :sign10: it gets complicated......

Or....I am just plain st---d :D

okay so you log on at 10am (type name and PW) you have 10 new posts, you look at 5, log out

you come back a day later, there are now 20 new posts these are what have been updated since you last logged in. if the 5 you never looked at before are unchanged since you last login, they will NOT be considered new posts.

So your statement in red is Correct (in Theory ;) )
