I'm sorry... What is this? The ZR-1 Registry and the Grand Sport Registry both donate 15,000.00 each and are supposed to receive two free track rentals (total of four) and all we get is a driving experience that is more suited to the electric Barbie Corvette.

After contemplating going to The Gathering to do the new track, I am canceling after seeing this joke of a track day. This is nothing what was promised, which is a true HPDE event.

Any chance we can have a true track event instead of parade lapping?

You should think about editing your comment. I am certain you have not been privy to the circumstances of anyone's resignation or the preparations made for the Gathering and why. I still hope you decide to come. Although the events are important, the camaraderie is why we show up.

I am not going to let you derail the topic.

The Registry was working on a HPDE that was mentioned in post 142. This was being promoted as a huge part of the event. This is why myself and others were going to travel a large distance to this event. I will not be making this trek to do 3 runs totaling 5 minutes.

Yes, Dave Bright was the driving force behind that donation. The Registry had donated enough for a quarter acre, and then decided to make a pledge drive to get s full acre.

Doesn't appear by your avatar that you are even a member of this Registry but yet you throw stones left and right. If I'm wrong then I apologize but really dude?!?

Kurt's been around quite a while and he has his reasons, not saying I agree or disagree with them, for not being a member. I'll be keeping an eye on this but he's right about what we donated.

Jim, I am a founding member #304 November 1st 2004, but let my membership lapse due to a group of individuals who were running the asylum. Now that a certain individual is gone I plan on renewing.

So please, before your tossing your stones around, how about you know your history and not just the learned history from your admiral blue friend.

First off, pleasure to meet you online. And that is the only way you know me as well. I'm not trying to throw stones, just sick and tired of all the bickering. As for the introductions and any history, we can take care of that later. Again, pleasure to meet you Kurt.
