Initial Maintenance on low mileage ZR-1
 

Yep....perfect (1990 #0072)...thanks Lee.

Normally I do a lot of ZR-1/LT5 modifications but on this 90' especially since it is one of the first off the assembly line (and only 38,000 miles)....
No modifications.......Except some Carter Bling and your Map Sensor Cover.......and RC SL4-205 Injectors ;)
Added the Billet Aluminum Belt Tensioner Pulley and did the standard Dynomite Top End Restoration including Starter Solenoid :p

Remove Plenum and clean Valley drain, fix ALL vacuum leaks including check valve on passenger side under Plenum, block TB Coolant at Injector Housing and often replace Injectors. Requires New Plenum Gasket from Jerry.

Changed ALL fluids.......AMSOIL 10W-40 Engine, CASTROL 10W-60 Transmission,
Mobile 1 75W-90 Differential and some NAPA Green antifreeze.

And since changing out Differential Fluid...added the 1/8 inch NPT Allen Drain Plug.

Lee.......installed the 1990 #0072 today.....looks superb as that is the only visible modification to this LT5/ZR-1 :handshak:

The LT5 runs soooooo smooth.......just installed new Clutch Master and Clutch Slave from Jerry.
Also replaced all four speaker amps with 95 Nissan Max amps for a perfect sounding Bose System.
