1995 ZR-1
We seemed to have gotten off track. Let's get back on.
'95 Dark Red/Black LPE385 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...586ce7ae68.jpg Ted It was 75 degrees today. I got to drive a 415, 385, ported & cammed 350, & a bolt on 350. |
Re: 1995 ZR-1
Really like that red. Does the itch go away once you have all the colors?

The itch doesn't seem to go away.
Just picked up the 385. I had chased that car for 15 years. Ted |

1995 ZR-1
I've been crazy about these cars for a long time. I think it was late '86 I had a Kimble cutaway on my wall. My true lust was an LPE385. In July 2002, a gentleman was offloading his car up North. I missed it by an hour. It changed hands a couple times. Heartbreakingly, it was separated from its glass top and takeout parts. BUT, I'm still ecstatic!
I've done some troubleshooting for drivability and think I'm there. The car hasn't had many miles over the last 15 yrs. So, plugs, x-pipe, VSS, rebuilt headlights, short shifter, & O2 sensors later, it's smooth! I have cammed 415 & 350 on either side of hp/tq. Quite a ride. Here's a photo of the cammed 350 & newly acquired LPE385. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e24a8a2716.jpg Niceville gathering today minus the LPE385. There's a '91 in there. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c5d136dccb.jpg Ted |
