Mine just came in the mail today. Much more substantial than I even expected. Pure awesomeness!!! Thanks Lee! If you ever make it down to Springfield during the warmer months, look me up.

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

Received my cover today. Anyone who hasn't gotten one already, should. The cover is thick-gaugued, quality painted and stamped, and priced low (you could easily sell these for more than $32). Great job Lee and thanks, I love it.

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

I second everything Joe said. Even if, for some reason, you do not want to install one of these on your car, get one as a souvenir of the awesome history of the King of the Hill! Thanks Lee for making these available!

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

That's why I got 3. One for the Map Sensor, one for the interior (still working on where to place it), and one that will be framed with a collection of car pics the build sheet and the window sticker for car shows and stuff.

Lee, If you have an extra and would permit me to send you a money order, i`d like a plate for 1990 #2161. I`d just need your mailing address to get it on the way. Thanks and they look great.

As always Lee has a great product. If you haven't already get yourself one; even of you don't plan on installing it.

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

Lee, I bought mine almost a year(?) ago, but put it "where I wouldn't loose it". However, this thread got me scowering every nook and cranny, and it finally got installed yesterday.

Wow! That piece is a CLASS ACT, Lee. It looks as tho it came from the factory that way - and probably should have!

I totally agree. That's probably why MerCruiser was willing to lend it's logo.

Lee. 1989 - 10. Please send me your address and confirm the price. Very well done. Thank you, George.

LGAFF 04-06-2013 11:56 AM

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

How do you want the 10 expressed, on a 90 it would be 0010.....do you just want "10"?

Corvettes White 04-06-2013 12:42 PM

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

0010 is better. Thanks for asking.

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

I was at Carlisle yesterday with the WAZOO group and I saw these labels and I would like to get one for my ZR-1. I understand that the first block is the model year of the Car, but I am nout sure waht number is used in the second block.
Can you advise and confirm the price?
BTW - My parents lived in Crystal lake in the old Clubhouse for the original country club.It was also the place that they stored Ice from the lake in the winter time to use in the summer before the days of refrigerators.

LGAFF 04-07-2013 11:56 AM

Re: MAP Sensor Cover

The 2nd is the production # of your car; send me your model year and last four of the VIN

Lee,
Got mine just fine and installed it right away.

Looks terrific but I'm very disappointed in one aspect.

I thought that if I put that new cover on I would go from about 440 hp to something approaching 600 hp and it seems to be just the same as it was despite the gorgeous new plaque on the sensor.

LOL.

Looks great. Thanks.
