Default He's gotten better.

Since last time I saw this guy racing. Damn! His Z sounds just fantastic. It has great acceleration great handling. And he's doing with it what was meant to be done with it. Tons of ZR-1 drag racing vids out there but not enough road racing ones. He's aggressive but keeps it under control. I enjoy watching it.

Very cool! I'm assuming this was in Europe. He certainly gave the Porsches all they could handle.

Wow, that just made my morning! Picking off Porsches and the sound of that LT5 engine... again Wow! I'd love to know how that car is set up. From the vid it appears to have a full rollcage and from the general lack of tire noise I'd say he's running on race tires.

Someone wrote in German below the vid that the car is the same year as his and is "almost" stock. I guess he must be familiar with the car. His own comments elsewhere indicate the car has been "lightened" and has "Motive" brakes. He claims to have 367PS which equates to the stock 375hp. It's intersting to read the Porsche jocks comments in German. They all claim that if the Porsches had real race drivers and not "dentists" as one put it, the Porsches would mop up the Vette. Of course they don't comment about the fact that ZR-1 is 20 years old against their new cars.

BTW the Salzburg Ring is in Austria.

In his first video he's definitely not as good a driver. Still intersting to watch him pass a DTM Mercedes CLK. (AKA BlackSeries here) He also claims the only mods to the car are the "lightening", Motive Brakes and roll cage.

Austria, Germany. It was all part of the Roman Empire originally.

No way is that car stock...mine doesn't sound as good. But maybe it would if I gutted the interior? Just lightening one up though ala snakeskinner would really increase the performance. For track use the brakes are the first thing after tires I would change. But I've never been on a track like that.

I don't know Ryan. I'm sure he is running no cats. Maybe even straight pipes. A roll cage, taking wieght off and kick *** breaks. Coil overs and racing slicks. Maybe! I'm sure he's telling the truth. Bro have you ever actually run you Z hard? I swear the harder you push em the better they run. Its really weird. Most cars fade when pushed hard. Not these. Maybe Jeff Flint can explain the science behind why they run like that. He knows the engine inside and out.
