What is the function of the little triangular "switches"?
Referring to the little gray triangles to the side of the power seat switches in the center console, on the early cars. I see they don't appear on the later cars, but not sure when the change occurred.
My new-to-me 1991 didn't have either one but I knew that before I bought the car. Since the little rectangular holes light up when the lights are on, I figured maybe they were supposed to be lit indicators, but the replacement pieces I just bought from Zip Corvette appear to be solid with no light transmission. What gives? What exactly do these triangles do / why are they there? |

Their only purpose is to disappear from careless detailers. I epoxied my originals in place. You can order a new set from Corvette Central. The light is annoying.

They don't light up as far as I know...the little solid piece snaps in there or is supposed to. The only things that light up is what is in yellow I think. It's been awhile since I've driven mine at night lol.

The light they refer to is through the hole where the triangle resides
