Default Brake Master Cylinder

Hey Guys & Gals,
Anybody know where I can get the parts to rebuild my brake master cylinder or anyone who is rebuilding them?
I have an intermittent leak from the cylinder bore & want to get it repaired before it is more of a problem.
Do have another master cylinder I can install, but would like to get the original fixed to keep everything original.
As always, thanks for all the assistance!!

Kenny, I went through this about 2 months ago. I wasn't able to locate a rebuild kit for our Brake MC. I'd be interested in what you find.. these are hard to find (PBR units.

Well Steve, that is not what I was wanting to hear!!
I've got a new master cylinder from Raybestos I can put on in the mean time, but the damn thing was built in Taiwan!! The pics in their listings showed it to have the correct PBR etc. castings, but when I opened it today I discovered it was probably just a stock photo.
Found a supplier that shows to have a rebuild kit. Will check with them next week to see if it is still available and let you know.
I need to get down to see you sometime. Even though I am in Texas, it's a hell of a long ways from Brownwood to Magnolia!!

On difficult to find or hard to get rebuild projects, I have had good results with these folks- https://whitepost.com/brake-sleeving...ding-services/

It looks like no one has master cylinder repair kits. I looked on RockAuto.com's site and there is no listing and when RockAuto doesn't have it, other than finding NOS somewhere, you're usually out of luck.

I did see that on RockAuto. com, they have a few reman cylinders w/o reservoirs, that are rebuilt by Cardone. I'd order one and see if it's a PBR casting. If it isn't you can send it back.

RockAuto also has several brands of new cylinders but I suspect all of them are made in places other than Australia.

As for Whitepost, it would be interesting to see if they have the parts to rebuild an early C4 master cylinder and if they can sleeve an aluminum cylinder.

Thanks for the leads Guys.
Seems like nearly all of the photos in the listings show the "PBR" & "Made in Australia". In reality, the actual product shipped does not have this and are built in Taiwan.
Have a lead on a rebuild kit. Will let everyone know what I come up with.

Would love to see you when you get time!

I've got two master cylinders I'd like to rebuild. Watching for your lead on parts!

Had the same problem. Order all the possible master cylinder available on the .net and none were rebuilt with PBR core. I settled for a low mileage used one from car-parts.com flushed it and installed DRM spring.
