Keep in mind the Corsa Mufflers...only one tip in each muffler is functional. This means one tip is fake in each muffler. Strange!

Corsa works only in unaltered form and it costs a fairly high premium to purchase it. I personally think one would be better off to modify the stock 2.7" diameter pipe set with an x or h-pipe in place of the resonator along with a better muffler using some form of sound cancellation or single outlet tips.

I would certainly go with a Corsa system or its clone on a smallblock powered C4, but i just did not care for the sound on the LT5.

I installed the Corsa exhaust with the black tips on my '91. Nice easy install there is absolutely no drone at any speed in any gear, yes it may cost more but you get what you pay for. A few days ago someone came up to me at a show and said the car sounds like a Corvette should.

I thought that was the case as well, until I "plugged" each inside tip to aid in hearing a possible exhaust leak. When I did, low and behold, water vapor started to come out of the outside tips.

Somewhere here is pic of a cut open Corsa and while most of the flow does come from one tip some does flow from the other but it looks to be 90% blocked. This is no different than the early 4 tip stock system only one side is fully functional.

I definitely liked the Corsa on my stock '94 LT1 w/A4 & 3.31 gears but, like you, didn't care for the sound on the '90 Z as much as I thought I would. I suspect that I would have liked the Corsa much more on a stock Z but with headers sans cats not so much. It's definitely a fine exhaust system, but not necessarily for everyone.

ricky

b&b 3" with x pipe and high flow cats, ready to bolt up

700 and I can meet you at WAZOO and hang that puppy

sell your corsa and likely make a profit.

got the c6 z06 tips too if you want a "flapper"

I decided I like the b&b with X pipe AS IS.

it's pretty quiet at crooze and I decided the $$ would be better spent elswhere.

still got this system for sale, corsa has a good system, but I think the B&B has the edge and agree with Pete.

sounds better and 3" pipes flow better than 2.5 the x pipe really "wakes the system up" and improves mid range and sounds great with no downside.

corsa is nice too but the B&B is more throaty at WOT and has a sweeter song which is what I love!

Hi Ron. I run no cats. Is the system used or new? if used, condition?
