I bought mine 18 months ago with 42k, after it had sat in a warehouse for 13 years. Needless to say it needed quite a few little things to make it reliable, and I probably put it through more than most since it's been my daily driver from day 1. So I find things and fix them while commuting, and it has been a great car. 55k miles on it now, going strong, and I would drive it anywhere.

I got mine with 17,800 miles a little over 2 years ago - now has 20,300 on it. 600 of that was to Haibecks and back...

So aside from that trip, you're averaging 70 miles a month? I've done more than that in a supposedly temperamental Italian car.

Yeah - it sits in garage for at least 4 months in winter because we have salt/beet juice/salt brine all over the roads. I took it an hour away to a show a couple weekends ago, going to another about 90 miles away in August. I work usually 6 days a week and wife works nights so we don't have much "us" time. That has seriously cut into "Vette time"...LOL
Not to mention I go to Corvette shows with the club I belong to, (won class in 5 out of 6 so far) - and I don't have the time to do a full day of cleaning before every show if I were to drive it more and get it dirty..

I would love to have the time to put 245K miles on any sports car. The truth of the matter is my highest mileage car is my wifes 2003 50th Anniversary with 42K and some change. For all of you out there that drive your cars kudos to you.

I owned my 2007 Corvette Z06 for eight years and put 50,000 miles on the car and loved it. That has been the longest I have owned a Corvette so far and I have had eight of them. The next closest was my '97 coupe for four years and my 2003 coupe for four years.

I've owned mine for about 6 weeks now. Bought it with 22,000 miles and currently have 23,500 (drove it from Michigan to Texas).

I made that drive with my Ruby. I just did it the other way.
