Rim availablity
So I did a brake job. Figured I'd balance the tires while they were off. Looks like both my rears are bent. By the time I straighten them, and refinish them, maybe I should buy new rims. I'm due for tires, so if I change size, no big deal. My tire guy didn't have anything great. What's out there?

There was a guy over on the Corvette Forum with a set of Shelbys.

Re: Rim availablity
The Autopartsshop.com shows factory style rims (I doubt they are OEM) at $125 each.
Action Crash is the maker. Last edited by efnfast; 03-24-2015 at 05:31 PM. |

If you are interested in the Series ones, he's got them listed under C4 parts for sale. $2200

Thanks Jim, I'll check them out. This was totally NOT in the budget.

Re: Rim availablity
Very true Charlie. I think I'll run these this year if they pass inspection. That gives me a year to decide what to do. But still looking for rim options.

Re: Rim availablity
Steve, I've read a lot of good reviews about ye olde wheel shop. Why not have them straightened and refinished?

Re: Rim availablity
If by next year I haven't come across a smokin deal on something new, that's probably what I'll do. If I refinish them, it will be in black, but I'm reluctant to devalue them. I'd also like something more open to show off the new GS calipers. Too many decisions.
