No problems here, except for the short timeout, on a MAC OSX 10.6.8, Using Safari.
Lucky for me, when it times out, I can re-log in and the post I'm writing is still there.
I've lost posts like that elsewhere, very frustrating.

When I re-log in after such a timeout, I get a blank page. It says www.zr1.net in the heading but it is blank. Have to close it and log in normally. And my previous post is lost. --Bob

PS FYI, this took 14 seconds to return after I hit the "submit reply" button. A really long time in the computer world.

test starting at 08:12

test complete 09:07

I just tried to get a "time-out" on the post reply screen and it didn't time out in 55 minutes.

Bob, your problem may be with your service provider or software.

Hi Jim--
Perhaps it is my system but as I have said before, it only seems to happen on this website. I am on several other corvette (and other) forums regularly and I have never experienced the slowness or the timeout issue with those. But thanks for testing!!--Bob
