Arrow Noobie jack/exhaust q

As my 1st c4 I did the normal search for the proper jacking procedures for the car. I noticed people use the jack-a-vette or corvettegadgetman adapters but I looked at my Z with the corsa exhaust and it doesn't appear either will work due to the pipe diameter and a small stabilizing plate between the pipes. Am I wrong or do you with the corsa exhaust use something else?

Can I lift each corner one at a time? If so is there a sequence to minimize body flex?

Thanks

Marc Haibeck sells a great jacking tool. I have a Corsa also and use it all the time

I have corsa exhaust. I know what you mean.
Many will argue that even lifting one corner at a time for extended
periods is not a problem for the car. I'm not one of them.
There are as many ways of lifting the car as there are owners.
Here is one that I find works and works extremely well.

I have factory exhaust, and the suggested method of a piece of pipe on the jack to the bottom of the differential won't work on mine as the exhaust is in the way. I jack from the arrowed jack point under the side mirrors - which will jack the whole side of the car, put stands front and rear, then do the other side the same way....

Exactly correct and good point.

Thanks everyone. Will give the jack point method a try. Seems like an easy way to do the whoke car and I need to do the brakes and fluids. Appreciate all the great responses. This is a very informative group.

If you look on the rocker panel under where the side mirror is you will see a small triangle pointing down indicating the lift point. Put a ice hockey puck or a multi-folded rag on the jack to keep from damaging the rocker panel. You will see the body seam that runs under there - that is what you jack on - and also where I put my jack stands (as far forward and rearward as possible) The slot on the top of the stands will fit right on it....

This is Factory Exhaust 1990

A Steel adapter has been designed and proven safe to lift the rear axle directly under the center of the rear spring mount using a floor jack. The ZR1 can be lifted to a height such that ramps can be inserted from the side under each rear wheel.

I do not like twisting the ZR-1 while jacking from a corner.

Corvette Gadget Man has a nifty floor jack adapter that slips between the exhaust pipes. Use mine all the time to change tires.
