I've never heard anybody describe blower whine as disappointing and annoying. Quite the opposite, actually!

"The original GMC Syclone from 1991 was a 280-horsepower (remember this was 1991) all-wheel-drive compact truck that would reach 60 miles per hour from a standstill in only 4.3 seconds. That is 0.1 seconds faster than a contemporary Porsche 911 Turbo of the time and a whopping 0.6 seconds faster than the Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 that year."

Umm. Most everything I've ever seen puts the original Syclone 0-60 at 4.6+, which is very realistic for the weight and HP. That puts it neck and neck with the ZR-1, if not giving the ZR-1 a slight lead. Certainly not a deficit of .6 seconds. The Porsche 911 turbo in 1991 was around 4.8, not their reference of 4.4. A little research goes a long way...

Also, 39k for a supercharger, body kit and front brakes...ouch. That puts the total up around 78k.

A 2019 GMC Sierra 6.2 does 0-60 in 5.7. 8k for a supercharger, exhaust, and good tune and you'll run with that Sy"clone" all day and have lots of gas money to spare.

Yes, very unnecessary! Stick to the speed limit, please!
